Skin is tender to touch, i'm cold, tired and have no appetite.?

Previous reocurring problems: dry skin (controlled by body butter), nasal drip (controlled sometimes by using prescription nasal spray), over production of stomach acid

Starting last night about 2 hours after dinner i felt really tired and cold. When i woke up this morning my neck and back were (still are) very stiff. i feel warm but my hands and feet are freezing. I feel very tired. my skin is tender to touch all over, especially my neck, stomach and back. i used body butter virtually everywhere and it helped but it's still tender to touch. the feeling i have inside my body is similar to having very bad sunburn and it almost gives you chills, but not quite. someone mentioned it could be a fool allergy or just nerves. Please help me out with suggestions so i know if it persists how to approach my doc if i need to. i feel i may have a temperature as well but wont know until i get home. Thanks - STeph

Sounds to me like you have a virus that has been going around. Its symptoms are body aches and sore muscles followed by nausea and chills. Some have even reported slight head ache and vomiting along with feeling very weak and over tired.

For most all the length of this has been around a week to 8 days. Some have reported it to leave and return for a few days.

Take a few Advil and get extra sleep. Eat smaller meals and more often rather than big meals at one sitting. This will keep you nourished but less likely that you will have vomiting and acid problems from lack of food in your body.

Its a tuff one but you should be all good soon. Make sure to monitor your temp for the next few days and medicate with fever reducer if above 100 degrees.

Good luck!

Reply:I think you should definitely go to the doctor as soon as possible and tell him your symptoms.
Reply:Sounds like a light case of the flu. I get the same symptoms occasionally. Take it EZ, take vitamin C and Zinc, take a hot shower and some Tylenol PM and sleep it off.
