Skin is a mess-- help!?
Okay, I don't mean to be gross but I'm desperate.
So I'm fifteen, and up until a few months ago, I got very mild acne, aside from a spot on my chin where I have a patch of tiny whiteheads that never seem to have gone away. However, the last few months I've gotten a ridiculous amount of acne. It hurts to open my mouth, in addition I've got cysts, and scarring. I'm trying not to pop them, but sometimes I have no other choice.
I've tried everything-- got topical antibiotics about a month and a half ago from the doctor, didn't seem to make a big difference. I tried cleaning my skin with a salycilic acid cleanser, but that seemed to dry it out fast so I stopped a few days ago. I use scrubs occasionally, and Dove Deep Moisturizer every night, as well as oil free foundation. Now, I just have very dry skin, and the breakouts still haven't gone away, as well as that spot on my chin that hasn't left in years..
Help, please! This is disgusting. No nasty comments, thanks.

Reply:Stop scrubbing your face, use a cream cleanser like avons skin clearing cleanser in a green flipcap tube and be consistant in whatever you use!! this is very important, this takes time, and i know its hard but you really need to let them dry out on their own!! dont use scrub or multiple acne medications at once!! use aveeno oatmeal body lotion on your face... trust me it works... and remember BE CONSISTANT dont surprise your skin you will only cause another reaction!!
Reply:My sister in law had acne just like what you were talking about and she used the proactive solution kit and it really helped her out. Her skin looked a hundred times better. Also change sheets and pillow cases often. Avoid hand face contact and greasy food. Or being around food that is frying
Reply:I have never suffered from acne but I always see the advirtisment on TV for that PRO-ACTIV it is used by some of hollywoods biggest stars and you can now buy it at those little stalls they have set up in the middle of shopping centres here in Australia .....check the site out below..

So what works for others may not work for you. Don't just go to your doctor. Go to a dermatologist!!! They can help! ALSO... Drink lots of water.. Take a drink between every bite or every other bite of food while eating. And always take water with you. Drinking lots of water will improve your skin!!!
Reply:Go to a dermatologist and get a prescription for Accutane. you really need prescription treatment, If your acne is as severe as you say it is Accutane is the drug you should be on.
... accutane isn't an antibiotic BTW.
Reply:well, for one thing-your doing all the wrong stuff to your skin. your trying to use it as hide . be gentle....you'll need it when your 50! first, gentle wash cleanser cloths....and also use clear Aloe Vera gell ,( very cheep), and then add a baby moisturizer , after you wash or shower. if you do this and no results.....you have an allergy problem and you'll need to see a dermatologist or an allergist to find the cause. and a big ALSO....throw away all of your make-up and start using almay - it's at your local markets. if you can afford it, the very best is AVEDA products.no chemical or animal testing with this company. the product is unbelievable!!! my skin is so fresh and bright. i started using it during the 90's.
Reply:take a look at your diet. are you eating a lot of sugary and salty foods? do you drink enough water each day? do you get enough nutrients and vitamins?
how is your sleep schedule? random or routine?
Try not to touch your face throughout the day (which sucks bc it is hard to do if you have pimples, they are just all the more reason to touch your face). if you have to touch your face, are your hands clean? Are you stressed (also hard to stop bc zits make you stressed)?
these are all often overlooked reasons for getting acne. to clear up your skin, I'd recommend that you:
drink more water,
eat plenty of fruits and vegetables
pop a multivitamin in the morning
wash your hands often
carry around a bottle of hand sanitizer
avoid touching your face
even if you cant get more sleep, get into a more routine sleep schedule
try not to let things stress you out (like finals lol) (routine sleep will help)
also try to avoid using scrubs too often, especially if you have dry skin, it only irritates your skin
acne sucks. i had it really bad ever since 6th grade, and still have it now and then and i am a junior in college
best of luck to you

Lice on the Head and DEAD SKIN!?
ok i had a long hair i had dead skin... alot of them! so i comb my hair i see lice falling down..than i go bald... there are dead skin because of the lice trying to eat my skin or whatever.... and there was scratched on my head that were bleeding so they are gone. NOW!!!! i still have dead skin and the eggs are under it i got egg gel and comb... i keep getting dead skin! and it itches what can i do
Lice on the Head and DEAD SKIN!?
the best thing to do if u are a guy is just shave your head
Lice on the Head and DEAD SKIN!?
Cover your head with mayonnaise and let it sit for about an hour or two. This will sooth and moisturize your scalp and also help smother the lice. Do this occasionally and continue lice shampoo use (not at the same time), as mayo will not kill the eggs. Good luck to you.

Skin Tags - What is the easiest and safest way to remove skin tags? Why do you get them?
I don't know why you get skin tags, it's probably genetic. But Dr. Gott, who I believe answers health questions in major national newspapers, suggests coating the skin tag with clear nail polish daily. Supposedly it works, although I have no personal experience with this. Seems like it would be worth a try though...good luck!

Are you saying that you tried the clear nail polish on your skin tags and they fell off after a few days? What exactly did you do? Report It
Reply:I'm not sure why you get them, but they are harmless. An easy way to get rid of one is to snip it off with nail clippers...dont snip off moles!
Reply:Don't have them frozen off....it was horrible! I'd get them cut off before I'd go through that disgusting mess again! (Cutting them off is the preferred method for lots of people.)
Why do we get them? I have no idea...but I've got lots of them, I thought they were moles.
Reply:Garlic
A small sliver of fresh garlic. Use a little round bandaid to cover it. Do this at night and remove during the day. It will fall off in about 5 days, maybe less.
Garlic is very potent, so keep it small and off the surrounding skin.
I don't know what causes them. I do have them and the garlic worked and is a heck of a lot cheaper than than going to the doctor!
Reply:you might want to specify their location...this can be VERY significant. I would freeze them in any event because it removes the skin source from which they sprang. I've seen one tied and cut and/or cut return. This is not intended as medical advice. Only experience.

Does liver health effect skin health?
I'm lloking at a catalog that sells supplements. One of the supplements has B-complex nutrients "to tone the liver and support beautifull skin". It got me thinking-I used to drink a lot of alcohol and take abuse pills, but I mean...not every single day. Now, I have extremely dry skin-regular moisterizer does not work hardly at all and the only think that works is Aplha Hyphoxy Acid...which is expensive. I usually by that Neutrogena stuff...Healthy Skin. What do you think of Liver condition affecting skin health? Does Vinager help my liver if I drink a little every day? Thanks for your help
I am 30 btw.
Does liver health effect skin health?
yes liver problems do show up in your skin
a couple examples are if you have sluggish metabolism and
low enzymes your skin loses its luster.
You get age (liver) spots as you grow older from poor liver.
Your liver can still be good but not up to par.
It can also be related to leaky gut syndrome
B complex, essential fatty acids (omega, flaxseed,...) and enzymes are all good for supporting you liver/skin
the fatty acids especially moisten your skin
Does liver health effect skin health?
most possible but u can try using some creams too
ginkgo

Skin problem?
I have acne. In the morning I gently cleanse with a gentle cleanser. The problem is if I don't use a lotion my skins gets very dry. But if I use a lotion even if its an oil free lotion, my skin gets very greasy. Is there anyway I can fix this problem?
Skin problem?
Try Proactiv. It really works and it includes a cleanser, toner, lotion and moisturiser. Go to www.proactiv.com
Skin problem?
Take a vitamin A supplement- It helps balance things- And maybe sleep with a humidifier on so your skin doesn't get so dry from the heat
Reply:i would actually talk to your dr. my ex had this problem for years. his family dr looked at it and said it was sebbhoric dermatitis. gave him a steroidal cream and the dry skin went away real fast with no greasiness. after that the acne started clearing up on its own as well
Reply:my mom and i have used Oil of Olay ever since i was like born... it works awsome. it evens out your skin tone and it's not greasy. i've been acne free for about 13 years and all i do is wash my face with regular or antibacterial soap and then used oil of olay to take care of dryness without making my skin greasy.
Reply:you can buy some lime and squeeze some juice onto a bowl. First wash your face with warm water, then dab it on your face with your fingers for 10-15 mins, then wash it off with warm water. remember to wear sunscreen if u have to make some kind of contact with the sun.

What is a basic no-frill skin care regimen for my troubled skin?
I have oily skin, with the first signs of aging on my face. I am 28 with moderate to severe acne.
My body skin is oily in places and dry in others. I am prone to skin wounds that are difficult to heal.
What is a no frill skin care regimen I can follow with common drugstore brands?
What is a basic no-frill skin care regimen for my troubled skin?
Common drug store brands are rarely the way to go.
Most will only separate you from your hard earned money while feeding you illusions.
I would suggest that you consider that you have nutritional deficiencies. Read as much Natural health material as you can get your hands on. There is no reason for you to have signs of aging at 28, unless you have neglected or abused yourself.
If you smoke, or drink, stop.
The best suggestions I can give you are to
eliminate all the junk from your diet
start eating lots of fresh (only fresh, not canned or even frozen) veggies, steamed
small amounts of lean protien without hormones added
drink lots of clear water
In addition to an excellent high quality multi vitamin/mineral supplement, take beta-carotene mega-doses everyday ( your body converts this to vitamin A, on an as needed basis, helping to avoid the problems of vit. A toxicity. This both helps clear the acne, and help the skin heal from any sort of wound.
If you cannot get beta cartotene at a reasonable price locally, then vitamin A capsules. Look up the maximum dose, on a website like medline. Take a high dose, but do not exceed the max dose. Toxicity is bad news.
Here is about the only the only common drug store recommendation I can make:
Kirk's castille soap ( castille soap has no animal products and is pure) You may even find it at your grocery store, or if necessary can buy it online, but more expensive that way. About $1 per bar.
Kroger's usually has it in a little space near the mega-corp bar soaps.
and
Queen Helen Mint Julep masque for your face. Walgreens usually has this. It is magic in a tube. Very basic stuff. No ad campaign necessary. About $3 per tube.
What is a basic no-frill skin care regimen for my troubled skin?
Stop putting crap on your face. Use a soap that will leave your face clean without leaving lotion on it. I recommend Zest (aqua) twice a day. Eat a good balanced diet.
Reply:Cetaphil cleanser 2x a day - it is very gentle and won't make you breakout more.
Neutrogena Rapid Clear Acne Defense Face Lotion 1x a day - in the morning- it has salycilic acid, an acne fighter in it. You need to have a salycilic acid treatment that stays on your face all day in order for it to be effective. This lotion will treat your dry spots.
Neutrogena On-the-Spot Acne Treatment 2x a day on acne only - This is a benzoyl peroxide treatment that will clear up breakouts. It is only 2.5% strength, but I believe less is more for benzoyl peroxide. Maximum strength makes your skin red and itchy.
That is it! If you use a foundation, you can use one for oily skin, but make sure it doesn't have any acne clearing medication or "fresheners" in it. You don't want to double up on the medicine.
Reply:If you use turmeric paste it would have out standing results. Get raw Turmeric and grind a small stick into a wet paste. The paste should not be very thick meaning little water should be used. Hand grind it as it is a very small amount required. Apply a thin layer over the affected area and wash it off after a few hours like any other face pack. The longer the better. It would leave an yellowish colour for a day or so. But it has outstanding results. This is a very ancient and an effective Indian remedy. Best of luck.
Reply:Oily Skin Treatment
When the sebaceous glands in the body produce excess sebum, your skin turns oilier. Due to this skin condition you are most prone to face problems such as acne, whiteheads, blackheads, etc. Therefore due care should be taken on a regular basis to reduce the chances of developing skin diseases.
Daily, mix 1 tablespoon of limejuice with cucumber juice and ...

Skin problem?
i hav very senstive skin nd my face is lal red nd gor dry skin nd it feels tight nd burns help
Skin problem?
it could perhaps be something that you are putting on your face. maybe whatever you are using as a cleanser is too strong. try just washing your face in plain water for a couple of days, until the redness and tightness goes away. then start using cetaphil daily facial cleanser. its recommended by most dermatologists and its really helped my sensitive skin.
good luck

Skin issues...need advice?
okay my mom has really oily skin and i do but not as bad as her. I have a few questions...what is a good face wash that keeps skin less oily all day long?ive tried a lot of different stuff but nothing last all day i have to keep washing my face all the time...and the other one is will it ever go away?
Skin issues...need advice?
The only thing you can really do is get a face wash that is made for oily skin. You could try proactiv if you find that your oily skin gives you acne.
I also have oily skin and a few errant pimples so I use Proactiv morning and night and I use oil-free moisturizer (but only a small amount) followed by Mario Badescu powder which soaks up oil. Also, during the day, you could try using the oil absorbing sheets, I think they're made by Clean and Clear, but Proactiv and Mario Badescu make some too.
If you wear make-up, not wearing it or not wearing a liquid foundation would probably help as well. It doesn't stop your skin from being oily but it does create a gloopy mess which makes oily skin more noticeable.
Using a powder foundation like Neutrogena and reapplying powder throughout the day will control oily skin and shine. When you get home, remove all your make-up and wash your face with a face wash for oily skin.

I also have oily skin. What works for me is dial soap to really dry it out in the shower, and then use astringent as needed.
Reply:Try the Dove "Gentle Exfoliating Facial Cleansing Pillows" and the Dove "Skinvitalizer".

im generally in good shape but i can appear to not be since on my stomach and around my hips i have what i thought were stretch marks but im not so sure if they are, they are more like creases in my skin from were the skin creases when i bend over and they just kinda look like lines but unfortunatly they do make my stomach appear much worse than it otherwise would since it is reasonably flat.
i have tried exercise weight loss crunches but that doesnt seem to help. does anyonw know any creams, oils or home recipies to help? i thought coco butter may work but dont have the patience to try unless i am reasonably sure it will work.
if anyone has any solutions as to help fade or get rid of these lines i would be very grateful.
thanks :)

Skin is a self healing organ (the largest organ in the body), and with assistance and treatment for acne it can recover from even serious acne outbreaks. We have assembled information about how you can have the best complexion possible and stay away from products that are potentially harmful or a waste of time and money.
What can your Skin do?
1. It repairs itself.
2. It is wonderfully elastic and pliable.
3. It registers sensations with such specificity that it lest the brain differentiate among them.
4. It not only feels but also remembers sensations.
5. It is incredibly resilient.
6. It is largely self-cleaning and rarely suffers from lasting infection.
7. It can let in certain important elements even while protecting you from others.
8. Most astonishing of all, our skin is capable of holding in the entire , huge amount of liquid that flows through our bodies.

Reply:You didn't say how old you are :) so it's kinda hard to give an accurate answer! If you are 40 or so (which I am!) I can tell you from experience, that those are probably permanent marks in your skin from many years of wearing jeans, bending over, etc. I have noticed in the past few years that I have "creases" in my skin too, in the very areas that you described. I think it has a lot to do with the fact that as we age our skin loses elasticity and starts to "slide" a little! I am 5'8" tall, and weigh 128 pounds, I have those marks on my stomach/hips and it has nothing to do with being over weight or having a big stomach, as I guess I'm kinda "under weight". Hope this helps answer your question!
PS When I was at the doctor's for a physical and asked about the "lines/marks", I was told by my doctor that there's really nothing I can do about them as far as any lotions or creams. He said just to exercise and try tightening everything up under the skin, but as he pointed out, exercise only tightens/firms up muscles, not skin!!!
Reply:U could try Vitamin E cream. Topical use of Vitamin E is often claimed by manufacturers of skin creams and lotions to play a role in encouraging skin healing and reducing scarring. Whatever u get won't get rid of the marks but completely, but will make it less noticeable. Its likely they won't go away completely. But try the cream anyway and see if you can reduce the appearance of them. Hope this helps. :)

my skin is blotchy im really like beyonce's or queen latifah's skin color but there are some dark areas like on my knees from crawling and my elbows from resting it on chairs and on my neck it's kinda dark and on top of that i have discoloration spots it's like fair colored spots like im getting lighter like vitiligo but it's not that they are just tiny spots hheeelp!

Drinking lots of water and taking vitamin E supplements will help your skin's apperance significantly.

You can put a little lemon juice in lotion and put it on your elbows and knees. They also sell lightning creams, but I'd be careful with those. I've heard so many negative things about those.

Skin trouble..?
my sister seems to be having this skin problem..
she seems to scar really easily.. for example, even a mosquito bite leaves a scar for a really long time...
she's also got dark spots on her face.. old acne scars..
the whole problem is that the scars don't seem to be going off at all..
we've taken her to a million doctors, but nobody seems to know whats wrong.. shes been on medication... (oral medication and external creams) for over 2 years, but nothing's working..
we're worried, cos she'll be starting college next year, and her skin problem might be a bit of a setback for her.. she has really low self-esteem becos of it..
recently, another doctor said that maybe her problem has something to do with excess of the hormone melanin, or excess of ACTH hormone...
can anyone please shed some light on the matter?
thanx..
Skin trouble..?
Ok, did they test ACTH? This is a test for low cortisol. Low cortisol would cause melanin problems. Does she tire easily, especially with stress? Scarring easily could be diabetes. If both problems, could be pituitary disorder. She needs to see an endocrinologist.
Skin trouble..?
i had bad acne when i was young and got a cream from the health shop which got rid of it great stuff worked better than anything from doctor. raw vegtables very good for skin and lots of water great. i fi had known htat then i would not of had acne. don,t smoke either.
Reply:Notice if she has scars on the hidden parts of her body, where mosquitoes can't bite. If she has the scars there, it means she has a systemic disease with her blood. If no scars at hiden parts, so use a cream having Vitamin A in it, and let her drink carrot juice 3 times a week for now, then one time a week after two months.

Skin Reaction to Fake tan?
Hi All
I started using Garnier summer body as my skin is fair and I wanted some colour.
I have now developed a tan but with it a horrible red itchy bumpy rash and it hurts like hell!!
Can anyone help and also is this normal? Does anyone know of a fake tan lotion that doesn't irritate sensitive skins?
Thanks
Lolli x
Skin Reaction to Fake tan?
You are allergic to the product that creates the tan -- so am I.
I use Olay's "Touch Of Sun" which is more of a lotion with a little self-tanner added, and it works fine with no bumps.

Please send me info, links, articles w.e you think can be of good use t o me. Thank you
How to lose weight and get the skin tighter? is this possible?
If you lose weight sensibly, like 2-3 pounds per week and do stretching exercises like yoga or pilates while you are losing the weight you should be fine. The skin tends to stay baggy when weight is lost rapidly. good luck, i'm sure you'll look great in no time at all!!!

Skin Cancer?????
I have a lot of white bumps kind of in between my chest and neck. Both parents have had to have skin cancer removed. The white bumps kind of look like big whiteheads, but they cant be scratched off or popped so I am a little worried. Is skin cancer always a discolored mole, or can it be white bumps like this?
Skin Cancer?????
It may just be whiteheads but with your family history i would be showing your doctor to be sure. Skin cancer is not always a discolored mole. Better to be safe than sorry!
Skin Cancer?????
you know i got those around my bra line, turned out they were skin tags. not really moles or zits, but harmless the docs told me. might be those Report It
Reply:if visible.palpable, goes to other portion .it might be.
but .you must do several investigation.

Unless you are at least over age 25 and a heavy sun worshiper or a very heavy tanner it is highly unlikely that you have non melanoma skin cancer - especially from what you have described for symptoms. Young girls do sometimes get melanoma but they look nothing like what you describe.

Skin allergies??
Could it be possible that detergen, soap, shampoo or even dust can cause skin to feel itchy, red and bumpy sometimes? What if I have used the same product for years and it has never cause those symptom? My housemate used to have chicken pox and after two weeks I got shingles. Was sent to seen neurologist and got better in two weeks. But a week after that, I have itchiness and redness of my skin which last from minutes to hours, on and off almost everyday. He prescribed me with antihistamine, it helps with the itchiness sometimes, but i still have the same itchiness and redness on an off. My neurologist consulted the hospital's dermatologist and through phone she said it could be an autoimmune disorder and will last for few months. Should I go and seek other specialist advise or just wait and see???
Skin allergies??
Ask to be referred to a dermatologist, so they can make a proper diagnosis, rather than guess work over the phone.
Skin allergies??
ya when chicken pox beguns to fade away it does cause lot of itching.u could wait for a week or so then get consulted again.
Reply:I've had red itchy rashes / bumps for about a week. Went to see my Doctor and she said it was an allergy, but the only way to really find out what it is and try and eliminate on ething at a time and see what happens. She also said Anti-histamine.
I've since found it was an Imperial Bubble Bath, ironically enough for Sensitive skin!
So you could try eliminating one thing at a time and see what happens. I struck lucky and found mine.
Good luck!
Reply:I think the after affects of shingles is affecting you
I suffer from sensitivity to a lot of things, some foods, dust, pollen, soaps.......I take Zirtek everyday because the the other ones make me drowsy, also dry skin can make you very itchy
I would seek specialist advice if it continues because you can't live like that it will drive you mad.......
good luck xx
Reply:All of the things you described can cause you to have an allergic reaction. If you want to lower your allergy load, here are some things you can do....use a free and clear detergent, use Bounce with a rating of 0, (no dyes no perfumes) use ivory soap and use a baby shampoo.
If you do this for a week or so, you may notice a difference. Then you can add things back one at a time and determine what things are causing you to have a reaction.
The key thing to remember is....no dyes, no perfumes. Your perfume, scented lotion, etc. All of these things can cause an allergic reaction.
Hope you feel better soon.

Skin help needed desperately!?
Try Aapri or St Ives apricot scrub, to exfoliate - do every other day for two weeks - most will be gone!
Maintain with apricot scrub twice a week.
PS: keep up the rest of your good skin care routine!
Be sure the moisturizer is oil free, and non comedogenic [ doesn't cause pimples ].
And drink LOTS of water!

Skin and hair problem?
hair: So, i straighten my hair every morning, but it lacks thickness. When out of mousse, what should i turn to? It also lacks glow when I straighten it. one more thing, how can I make it less stringy?
skin(face): my skin is totally dull, how can i get that classic healthy glow on my face without skipping the foundation?
Please answer quick, thanks!
Skin and hair problem?
if you want hair to be more thick stop straightening it ur going to burn it out. When your out of mouse use gel . for your face use aveeno it makes ur skin soft. hope this helps.
Skin and hair problem?
when straightening your hair, it naturally takes out the thickness, so condition your hair a LOT and use a moisterizer in it to make it thick and beautiful. for your face you can have shimmer powder, rub it on your cheek bone and it will give it that signiture glow. hope that helps :)

Refreshing My Skin During Summer Months?
In the summer time....Well you all know about those harsh heated days that leave your skin feeling icky.
Is there some type of mist to spray on my skin to keep it cool and refreshed?
Have any of you used these types of products? If so which One?
Can Pure Aloe Vera Help keep Your skin cool in the Summer time?
Thanks and Happy Valentines Day To All 鈾?鈾?br>Refreshing My Skin During Summer Months?

happy you if there at you is summer ! here at me is winter, very cold
I recomend you "Qlinique" products, its are very good for dry and sensitive skin
Reply:Wow, I've read this in a magazine a while back... (trying to remember)
What I do is take an ice cube and rub it over my arms and legs, it's not too cold (like the back and stomach areas are) and it melts right away. I feel instantly cooler and if there is a wind, I feel even better. It's a spectacular feeling.
If you want a spray, I suggest you make your own! Put some water and cucumber into a spray bottle, shake it up and put it in the fridge. Take it out of the fridge and spritz it whenever you are feeling icky.

THE 'AVAST!' SKIN... why?
You may have heard of AVAST! (http://www.avast.com) which is great anti-virus protection or free, right. The thing is why is the default skin of the software this ugly metal thing. Others agree with this. I know there are other skins out there on the net to use instead of it ... But why in the 1st place. Why cant they have a really good looking interface like TREND MICRO, NORTAN (even tho its a hog), F-SECURE, COMODO (not good detetion tho).
In case you havent seen it here is a link :)
http://wiki.phoenixlabs.org/images/1/12/...
The thing is the software is GREAT, just looks taky and tahts is why it is not as big as Nortan or McAfee.... So why do the guys who work for the software create a better default skin. Which doesnt represent a DVD player... XD
Any ideas ?? =]
THE 'AVAST!' SKIN... why?
I couldn't agree more... I use Avast myself, it's by far the best free antivirus about.
Avast do provide alternative skins on their site... see the link below:

I use it myself and I am well pleased and I must agree its like something from Windows 95 or before, But as they say you can't judge the book by the cover. And it's FREE.

Is a skin wheal the best way to place local anesthetic to numb skin?
Is forming a skin wheal the ideal method of anesthetizing skin before performing procedures such as starting IV's or central lines or placing epidural catheters? If so, can you explain the physiological basis?
Is a skin wheal the best way to place local anesthetic to numb skin?
It is a good way because that part of your skin has a lot of nerve endings. However, using lidocaine isn't the only way to deaden the skin. People actually use normal saline injections in the same way and get similar results. The fluid interrupts the transmission of pain signals. I am not sure of the physiology involved, though.
There are also topical creams or gels that can be used that give good results. Emla cream is often used for this purpose. You can also use topical lidocaine that comes in a gel. The downside to the topical applications is that you have to put them on 10 to 30 minutes before the needle stick in order for them to work well. The good part is that, unlike the skin wheal, you don't need an additional stick.

Is there another skin problem like acne?
I had acne when i was younger and one of my friends had this home remedy so i used it and then within 2 months my face exploded. It looked like acne but it wasn't, it was really red, itchy and it looked as though i had racoon eyes because it was normal skin around my eyes. People would comment saying what happened to your face. I went on accutane for two years and it mostly cleared up but my skin is still very weird feeling and looking and i still have the racoon look, i also have very tiny white heads if anything and my skin is bumpy too. My skin is still red, i've seen various dermatologists, but they just want to put me back on accutane... helpp
Is there another skin problem like acne?
There are several different skin disorders and skin problems out there. I personally have Acne, Eczema, Dermatitis, Psoriasis, and redness of skin. Yeah, I have a lot of skin problems. Your racoon eyes may be hereditary, stress, or lack of sleep, suggestion change your diet and get some sleep. Drink plenty of milk, eat lots of chicken, and eat foods rich in vitamins.

Help! My skin is getting crazy!!?
My facial skin is going crazy!
I began having lots of acne-like, or pimple like "irritations" all over my face.
They are pretty intense on my forehead and sides of the cheeks.
They are not exactly pimples, because I am 26 years old. They are rather irritations or the fats re-surfacing from my chronic constipation problem.
I have visited two different dermotologists and they all said, "... there is nothing I can do.. just apply this cream where ever goes out of controll..."
So screw the doctors. Now, it is time to turn to the natural methods.
Do you recommend any natural ways to fight the surface of the pimple-likes? Any diets? Any natural creams or "washing face with milk"?
The worst fear I have is those irritations being left on my facial skin permanently as they become scars. How do I prevent forming scars?
Can you give me any tips on getting my facial skin back to the soft, acne-free, handsome state?
Any tips/advices will be appreciated.
Help! My skin is getting crazy!!?
Make a mix of plain old cooked oatmeal and whole milk. Apply as a mask nightly, let dry, rinse off. Do not apply any other chemicals, at least at night. This works.

Reply:Have you had a cold recently? Even if you aren't experiencing symptoms, this could be caused by a virus. My daughter has it. They doc. gave her an atibiotic. Maybe go to your primary physician. It's called igmatitis or something like that. I can't remember. It starts with igma. It might not be this, but it's a possibility. My daughter has had it for almost two weeks now, but I took her to the Doc. Friday so she has only been on the meds for 3 days, and now it is clearing right up.
Reply:You could search the Web MD site and see what it has to say about it. I know Lupus disease causes skin to get red and blotchy and it could be that. You could try a different doctor and see what he or she says about it. There are natural remedies for things and there are a lot of books about natural cures and remedies. Dr. Dean Edell is good, he has a site Health Central. I think you can ask questions there about it and he is on the radio and answers questions and it is a very interesting informative show.
Reply:The surest way is to cure first your constipation, have a no-fat diet, enough sleep, exercise and wash your face with plain clean water. Fat from soaps might aggravate your condition. My sister-in-law stopped using soap and her acne disappeared.
Reply:My wife daily washes her face with Green Tea. She hasn't had a pimple in years...
Drinking a cup of room temperature water every morning prevents clogging of the pores as well.
Thirdly, I would suggest to go to an allergist. Maybe there is something you are allergic to and don't know about it. Could be something in the air, something you eat, or even some cream/soap/etc..
If you are in doubt, seriously, aucupuncture works wonders when there is no other way out. The way they can correct the flow of CHI is amazing and really can work on almost anything!

Globally warming and skin?
How do you think globally warming will affect White people skin and heath? A White person can get a sunburn within 15 minutes of standing out side in the sun, and a White person can get skin cancer faster than a darker skinned person. I鈥檝e been thinking about this for a long time.
How would globally warming affect White people skin and heath?
What are your predictions?
Globally warming and skin?
Lets assume the worst and it warms a couple degrees in the next hundred years. That couple of degrees would be hardly noticable but would cause an increase, albeit slight, in the cancer rate. There would also be far more fewer people who die of cold related deaths, a rate that is far higher than heat related deaths.
Globally warming and skin?
The blind leading the blind. Do more people get cancer inside a 70deg house because it's warmer? Then I guess we should all live outside, but only if it's cold out. Report It
Reply:That's why they invented sun screen %26amp; sun block. I believe it's the UV / ozone that contributes to skin cancer, not global warming.
Reply:According to the theory there should not be a change in UV levels because of increasing anthropogenic greenhouse gas emissions. If global warming continues however and creates a milder northern climate, it will allow fair skinned people to exploit the northern latitudes. At latitudes above 50 degrees, darker skinned people have trouble naturally developing enough vitamin D, which can lead to diaseses such as rickets. It is believed that fair skin people evolved to live in regions were levels of UV energy are low, such as northern latitudes.
Reply:People will sweat more, but the Humidex will be higher so their bodies will not be able to cool down as efficiently. Expect more heart attacks due to heat stroke.
Heat doesn't give you a sunburn, UV does. But heat can still kill you.
Reply:DEFINANTELY! MELANOMA IS THE MOST SERIOUS FORM OF SKIN CANCER. It affects alot of different people but especially those with a lack of Melanin. Melanin is the pigment agent whicc causes skin to get darker as protection from the sun.

I need help with my skin!!!!?
I'm 15 years old and I feel like my skin is a mess. It's not that I have bad acne...I mean I have a few pimples but it's not so bad I have treatment. I feel like my face is uneven in skin tone... in school my face gets all red if I wear even a little blush. If I don't wear blush, my face looks pale and washed out. I want clear, even skin that is one tone and shines. Are there any makeup products or skin treatments that can help me get this skin???? HELP! thanks!

How do you tell the difference between fair skin and olive skin in those with lighter complexions?
I've been told I have olive skin. I've also been told I have fair skin. I can't use any products typically for olive skin as they are usually too dark, yet pastel shades and ivory foundations don't work either.
Could I have fair skin w/olive undertones? I never know how to describe my skin. I generally look "beige" with some red in my skin and tan well in the sun, but I do need to use sunscreen as I tend to burn at first.
How do you tell the difference between fair skin and olive skin in those with lighter complexions?
"fair" usually has pink undretones while "olive" has yellow undertones. You can have a mix. Some cosmetics counter in deprtment stores sell foundations that they make to match your exact skin tone.
How do you tell the difference between fair skin and olive skin in those with lighter complexions?
my guess is that you do have fair skin with olive undertones. olive is an undertone. NOT a skin color. like me you are one of the rare olive undertones with lighter skin. Report It
Reply:You probably don't have fair skin. Fair skin generally means a lighter pale looking skin. Just say you have olive skin. People always need to use suncreen even if they're darker skinned because the UV rays seem more harmful than in the past. I would recommend using some sort of SPF lotion anytime your outdoors.....it'll prevent premature wrinkling and aging of your skin. I believe a lot of cosmetic companies carry a day lotion (with SPF) such as Clinique, Biotherm, La Prairie, etc.
Reply:What are your eye and hair color.
I'd classify you as a "warm" tone - or neutral - neutral is an olive skin tone -
Cool is a blonde - or blue eyed person.
So you would be a darker color foundation -
You can do pink or earthy tones.
Deep plums to a mossy green type eyes- (darker earth tone).
Reply:Look at the wrists do the vains run blue or green a greenish cast over them makes the person an olive skin tone.
Reply:I am a Mary Kay Consultant and I can usually get a shade correct by assessing these questions
Would you say your skin tone is fair med or dark
Do you tan,tan very easy or burn
tan is a yellow undertone which most people have tan very easy is olive undertone and burn is pink undertone.
Reply:Fair skin is pink to white. Olive skin is tan or caramel. Medium skin is beige-ish. You may have that and not "fair" or "olive. Go to the store and compare; see which foundation shade matches your skin tone. That will be easier.

Various beauty/skin care questions...any product recommendations?
1. I have friends/family who smoke and I work in a club where there's a lot of smokers: what products are there that protect/repair skin from smoke (and pollution, etc.)?
2. Is microdermabrasion the best procedure for evening out skin tone in the face/neck and reducing wrinkles (I also heard it stimulates collagen growth), or is there something else that works better for this? Or a product like a lotion or something?
3. Is there any product for the body that evens out skin tone? (Like reducing redness in the knee area so legs are all one even color?)
Thanks!

Is the skin on your fingertips less sensitive or more sensitive than the skin on your nose?
wat r the layers that make up the skin?
wat in the skin causes us to feel?
where does it send the message that something is hot or cold?
how does the geographical location of detroit affect the weather?
Is the skin on your fingertips less sensitive or more sensitive than the skin on your nose?
I'm pretty sure that the skin on our fingers is more sensitive and thicker than on our noses. Nerves cause us to feel. It sends the message to the brain. I think Detroit is a little above sea level, enough to make the weather different than other places.

Do I have skin cancer?
I went to the doctor a week ago to have two odd moles looked at. She decided to do an incisional biopsy on them. Yesterday the doc called and said that one of them was a "highly atypical nevus" and that I should come back ASAP to get more tissue removed with a margin. I'm going in tomorrow to do that. When I asked what that means, she said that we'd talk about it in person. Now I'm worried.
I'm only 26, but I have a lot of risk factors for skin cancer--family history, blue eyes and red hair, pale skin and freckles, many many bad sunburns, congenital nevi (moles I was born with), and a precancerous mole that was removed 7 years ago. That's why I keep a close eye on my skin and went to the doc in the first place.
Does this mean that I have (or probably have) skin cancer?
Do I have skin cancer?
If the first biopsy looked unusual, this does not necessarily mean it was malignant, just not typical-looking. The doctors just want to be sure they are covering all the bases, so nothing falls through the cracks. Just go to the appointment, and if it is malignant, they will tell you.
Good luck!
Do I have skin cancer?
Probably not. Don't jump to any undesirable decisions before you meet with your doctor. If, worst case scenario, you do have cancer, it can still be cured if you took the right medications. Good Luck.

Pale Norweigan skin?
I come from Norway, as many know we have pale skin, and some of us including me have light blue veins with very thin pale skin. I am currently living in America and I am 16 years old. I'm bewildered by the change as many girls have nice tanned skin and veinless. I'm intimidated. Would guys find this in me as a turn off? Thank you all!
Pale Norweigan skin?
I also have a pale skin and my veins are visible. It turns some guys on, turns the others off just like some people prefer blondes, some people prefers brunettes.
If you want to get tanned however and don't like sunbathing try those tan saloons and/or tanning sprays

no they would find you yummy
Reply:Hey, people tell me I need a tan all the time. I can't tan. It's my skin color. When i was working on an oil rig once and black guy said to me "Damn you white, you gotta get some son" I told him of all people he should be more tolerant of skin color. I WAS KICKED OFF OF THE RIG. WTF. Enjoy who you are.

a family doctor should be able to take care of it...but to be sure, see a dermatologist.
Reply:not a fungus Its sounds like vitiligo
Reply:There is no other way except you take good care of your food intake or you can use Elemente products well.
Reply:Use antifungal Cream or spray...the stuff you would use to treat athelete's feet..or go to the doctor and get diflucan

Hairspray bad for skin?
I use a lot of hairspray for my up-do hairstyle and consequently I usually get a lot of over spray all over my ears. I never really thought much of it, until one of my friends pointed out and asked why my ears are always glistening and supershiny. Is alcohol based hairspray bad for the skin of my outer ears? I never had any skin irritation (or should I say EAR-itation) on the skin of my ears, but Im thinking anything alcohol based should probably stay off the skin as much as possible?
Hairspray bad for skin?
while hair spray may cause irritation too some people, its fine to get a little on the skin. if you havent had one yet then have no fear of using it. but i agree, shiny ears are a sign that you have bad aim. have the spray closer to you hair. the 12 inches recomendation is a little much
Hairspray bad for skin?
I think so because it does have alcohol
Reply:Well alcohol can dry out your skin. ALso, not that you are having this problem at least you don't describe it, but hairspray clogs pores so be careful not to get to much on your face, or wash your face after because it can cause break outs.
Reply:hair spray is for HAIR. What you need to do is massage your skin with olive oil or use 2 table spoons odf olive oil in your bath. You can also use apple cider vinegar, it helps with everything in the body
Reply:not bad for skin
Reply:I'd have to agree with the alcohol drying out the skin. Strange that you havent had any irritation yet. A ex co worker of mine always had hairspray coated ears when she came to work, and she had mentioned that the skin of her ears gets really greasy as the oil glands try and compensate for the time she has dried hairspray on her ears. Im sure if you quit using so much hairspray your ear's skin will thank you in the long run.

Get Flawless Skin for Cheap?
I'm 13 and I have really greasy, dry, acne-covered skin and I always feel that I'd have more confidence and would be more outgoing if my skin was pretty and perfect! I'd not the richest person (I'm not rich or poor...I'm in the middle) and I have 30 dollars left over from my allowance..anyway are any fabulous beauty tips and advice for flawless skin...any cheap ides..thanks so much!!!
Get Flawless Skin for Cheap?
use alcohol and cotton ball, to help dry out the skin, and then use soap and water to wash your face!!! Also if you can get some kind of face cream/soap to wash your face with every night, it should help. They shouldn't be expensive!

I used to have the same problem. There is a product out there that works just like proactive... It's really awsome, it's called Acnefree. Here check it out.

Reply:You can use many products in your own kitchen that are natural and safe to use. Some of them include eggs, honey, oatmeal, extra virgin oil, lemons, etc. But here is a really good (and inexpensive) remedy you may want to try:
Take a whisked egg white and rub it over your face. You can leave it on for 15 minutes or sleep with it on. I recommend sleeping with it because the results are so much better! In the morning do your normal clease, tone, and moisturize! The egg white tightens your skin and leaves your skin soft and smooth. This isn't going to happen overnight (would be great if it did!) but you will definitely see results if you are consistent! If you have acne scars/blemishes use 100% cocoa butter or Vitamin E oil to "fade" away the scars. HOPE THIS HELPS!
Reply:It's normal at your age because you are going thru puberty. I had the same problem back then, greasy face and back and a lot of pimples on my back, i was ambarassed to wear tank tops or strapless shirts... I went to the dermatologist and she gave my a bunch of useless lotions.. They never worked. But the pimples disapeared with time, I'm now 25 but i still have greasy skin, so i wash my face often and use products to control that, and i dont wear too much make up, because there's nothing unprettier than a dripping make up...

I feel insecure about my dark skin?
It never hit me that I was dark skinned till like third grade when I got teased, and what hurt even more, was when my family members said I was dark, ans almost everybody in my family is light skinned. My body is not that dark, its just my face. All right I take alot of pictures, and I like the way I look in them. But the only time I feel good is when im in alot of light cause when im not my skin is dark, and I don't look as good when im dark, or atleast I don't think I do. But now im feeling really insecure, cause every time i go somewhere im looking at other peoples skin tones, wishing I was that lighter skin tone. Since I take pictures and my camera has flash My skin color is lightened, and girls are really crazy over me, this also happens in a well lit area, so if im in a dark room most girls don't notice me, and when im in a room with a lot of light they do, so i don't know if you guys no what im going through, but help me out
I feel insecure about my dark skin?
I know EXACTLY how u feel! I was always dark-skinned and I was very insecure. I still am at times. Society has always gave the impression that dark skinned ppl could not be attractive. I am still learning but someone told me that when you act insecure on the OUTSIDE people see it. Try being more confident. I was teased by everyone, even family. I had the same feelings as u. If u r attracting people to u then it is YOU. Work on it. I am and believe me, it isn't easy. By the way, u didn't mention ur age. The sooner u work on, the better u will be. Good luck!
I feel insecure about my dark skin?
1. use safe and potent skin lightening products - no hydroquinone, mercury or steroids AND potent unlike most commercial products showing little or no results at all.. here's a good source-
http://www.arizona4pinoys.com/best-skin-...
2. use a high spf (50 or better) sunscreen whenever outdoors..
3. take 500 mg vit. C everyday to enhance skin lightening and suppleness..
the above will give you faster and the most effective results.. i've done it.. :-)
Reply:I wish no one would have made you feel insecure about yourself because you're beautiful. Nobody should ever make you feel like you're not. If girls don't notice you because of your dark skin, but in the light they do.. then just wait till the right one comes along and she should accept you no matter what. I know it sounds so cliche, but it's true. Is this just a matter of not being able to obtain a girl? Or is it a deep lingering hurtfulness of not being lighter skinned? You just have to come to accept that this is who you are and be glad. It's way easier said than done, but don't you think there are millions of people like you out there making the best of what they got? Why worry about how dark or light your skin is when tomorrow it could be all over and the time you spent thinking about how you don't like how you look you could have actually accomplished something or done a thing you've always wanted to do. Good luck. I hope I helped you...

I have oily skin, which foundation?
Hiya!
An attractive makeup application must begin with a foundation that blends smoothly and evenly, merging with your skin. Even if you feel that you need a foundation that provides good coverage, obvious coverage is a mistake and can negatively affect your entire makeup application. The primary goal when shopping for foundation is to be sure it matches your skin exactly. Avoid ever buying a foundation to alter skin color because in daylight or office lighting, it will appear completely unnatural.
I have listed below the types of foundation good for oily skin...but like every person is different, every skin too is different... so you must check any of these foundation on your skin (with a tester) to see if it gives you the desired effect.
All the companies named are the ones which I have tried and they are really good and long lasting.
Ultra-matte foundations
These are an amazing group of medium to full coverage products that truly stay put. Most have a very liquid consistency but dry quickly on the skin. The good news is that today's ultra-matte foundations are noticeably easier to blend and more forgiving of mistakes.
Pros: These foundations are a superior option if you have seriously oily skin, have trouble with makeup slipping or disappearing as the day goes by, live in a humid climate, exercise but still like having your makeup stay put, or like a completely matte finish. Ultra-matte foundations will outlast any other foundation, with no slippage or movement. If you have very oily skin, these are an absolute must to try.
Cons: The disadvantages to using ultra-matte foundations are that many of them go on rather heavily and look masklike, leaving the skin feeling very dry and taut. In order to get this makeup on evenly, you must blend quickly or it will dry in place before you know it, and then it can be difficult to blend further. Ultra-matte foundations have less movement than more emollient foundations, which means eyeshadow and blush have a tendency to stick to them; that can make blending and correcting mistakes a bit irksome. Women of color should be careful when choosing ultra-matte foundation. Even if it is the right color, these foundations can tend to look gray and ashen after being applied to darker skin tones.
Ultra-matte foundations are also the most difficult type to remove. The number of ultra-matte foundations is dwindling, as women have undoubtedly had problems with them. This is unfortunate, as these ingenious formulations can work so well for truly oily skins.
Products Worth Trying:
Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay in Place Makeup SPF 10 ($32), Maybelline EverFresh Makeup SPF 14 ($7.49), and Revlon Colorstay Stay Natural Makeup SPF 15 ($10.99)
OR
Oil-free and matte liquid foundations
A well-formulated oil-free or matte finish liquid foundation should have a smooth finish with no shine or dewy appearance. Ideally, this appearance should last for at least a few hours, but in the long run, this depends almost entirely on how oily your skin is. Most oil-free and matte liquid foundations provide sheer to medium coverage.
Pros: These foundations are the best choice for women who want balanced coverage with minimal to no shine, and who like a smooth, matte look. They last much longer on oily skin or over oily areas than most other foundation types.
Cons: All in all, there aren't many disadvantages to using this kind of foundation but some of them can make the skin look or feel dry.
Products Worth Trying:
Clinique Stay-True Makeup Oil-Free Formula ($16.50), Estee Lauder Equalizer Smart Makeup for Combination Skin SPF 10 ($32.50) and Paula's Choice Best Face Forward Foundation SPF 15 ($12.95).
OR
Liquid-to-powder foundations
These liquidy powders with a gel-like wet feel, apply easily and dry to a satiny-smooth, slightly matte finish. They typically contain water as the first ingredient, along with a slip agent such as glycerin. In contrast to cream-to-powder foundations, liquid-to-powder foundations feel lighter on the skin. They also tend to last longer over combination or oily skins since the creamy, waxy ingredients are either decreased or absent.
Pros: Liquid-to-powder foundations blend on quickly and relatively easily and provide a semi-matte to matte finish with sheer to medium coverage. They work great for someone with normal to oily or slightly combination skin. The consistency doesn't require powdering after you apply it.
Cons: Liquid-to-powder foundations dry quickly and can blend on choppy. This type of foundation does not work well over dry skin, because the water portion tends to cling to dry areas, leaving a powder finish that is not easily moved. The product itself must be kept tightly closed, as the water component will evaporate if it is left exposed to air. Some of the compact liquid-to-powder makeups can break apart if you are not careful.
Products Worth Trying: Borghese Molto Bella Liquid Powder Makeup ($35.50), Cover Girl AquaSmooth Makeup SPF 15 ($8.50), and Vincent Longo Water Canvas Cr猫me-To-Powder Foundation ($52.50).
Some more make up tips:
So... your best makeup investments and tools are: a light gel hydrating lotion, a makeup primer (which is silicone-based), conceal first then lightly apply a foundation designed for oily skin, finish with an oil absorbing powder (use a press release motion w/ a clean powder puff for max anti-shine). Stick to matte natural colored eyeshadows and cheek color, lots of waterproof mascara to bring your eyes out and a shimmer lipstick for some fun!
Suggested foundations: Pro brands to check out: Vincent Longo water canvas, NARS balanced foundation, Shu Uemura uv liquid, Stila Pivotal Skin and M.A.C studio fix. For dept store lines check out: Clinique superfit, Maybelline true illusion, or L鈥橭real feel natural 2-way.
Basically, you need to find the foundation that works w/ your skin, and gives you the results of: a nice matte finish, good coverage, is long wearing and doesn't clog your pores.
When you are doing your makeup, make your eyes or lips your feature, and be gentle w/ yourself, as skin undergoes many changes throughout our lifetime. So look after your skin, drink lots of water, eat a well-balanced diet, exercise moderately, and feature focus your makeup maximizing your best asset, whether it is your beautiful eyes or your gorgeous smile!
Have fun!!
Cheers!

Reply:Clinique, at any department store. It's alright priced but it works miracles on oily skin. Or combination skin. It's about 10 dollars or 15 for a bottle of lotion and foundation...they have people who'll work with you to find the right type of lotion or foundation for your skin too.
Reply:Almay sports! Fabulous stuff. I have very oily skin on my T zone and have tried and failed with many various foundations over the years. I have recently discovered this and it is truely the best. Stays put and looking divine all day. Excellent coverage and light on the skin. Almay Sports! Shout it from the rooftops!.
Reply:Loreal makes a new foundation which is pure minerale or something like that. It is a powder foundation that u apply with a brush, which comes with it. I have combo skin and it's a great medium coverage PERFECT for summer and my skin looks great all day--no shine or clogged pores. Good luck!

Best facial skin products; eyes, and overall skin health?
I'm fifteen, nearly sixteen, and I guess my time in the sun caught up with me. I have slight wrinkles under my eyes which I notice a lot of people do.. it's probably normal but I know there are products to tighten the skin around the eye area. I'm looking for a good one and I'm willing to pay a decent price for it. I have a job but of course live with my parents so I have money for this stuff..
Also, I'm looking for facial moisturizers, masks/masques, and concealers. My skin is pretty soft and clear but I'd like to keep it that way and there is always room for improvement. It tends to get oily around the nose and forehead.. the rest is pretty normal. I'm looking for stuff you apply/wash off in the shower, leave on as toners, any multiple products that work great on my face and again price isn't that much of an issue.
I'll add a picture if requested but if you saw my recent hair question you know what I look like. Please help! Thank you.

Overly stretched skin- how do I repair it back?
Hi,
I have been having a medical problem that made my stomach bloated pretty big, like a fat man.
The medical problem is not resolved yet, and I am worried if this stretched stomach skin will be permanent, even after the medical problem is solved.
If that happens, what can I do to make my stomach skin flat like before?
I always excercise to flatten my stomach, but maybe because of the overly stretched skin, it never gets flat.
I want to look attractive, and this is a serious problem to me.
Same to my chest. Because of the medication I am talking, chest has become like a woman's breasts.
Is there anything I can do about them (any surgeries, or any medications I can take right now)?
Thanks!

If it is only strecthced a little bit, Vitamin E oil will help with the stretch marks as well as other OTC stuff that is made specifically for strectch marks. However, if it is stretched so much that there is hanging skin after your problems are resolved, that has to be surgically removed. Plastic surgeons do this all the time for people that have lost lots of weight, like when somebody gets gastric bypass surgery, they usually have a lot of hanging skin that needs to be removed. Those are about your only options, ask your doc, he will know your condition and will be able to help more.

THere are surgeries for that.....look that up on wikipedia, they might have the procedures on there, all that info......Good luck dude!
Lift weights and stuff, push up, call the biggest loser! They might help ya?
Reply:I recommend a tummy tuck.
Reply:Whether or not the skin returns to "normal" is completely up to your body. But the medical issue causing it must be taken care of before you can determine that. If, after that, several months pass with no improvement to the skin, even with exercise and toning of the underlying muscle, the skin is still saggy, then surgery is the ONLY thing that will fix it for you. Abdominoplasty, AKA tummy tuck, is the likely fix (or a breast lift for your chest). Check around for plastic surgeons and see if any give free (or cheap) consultations. That can give you a better idea. Just make sure to do research about the surgeon before letting anyone cut into you.

You may need to check out websites that give advice on alternative/healthy ways of doing things, repairing yourself. . . I believe that on one particular website that it was mentioned that applying vitamin K (I think in a cream form) would help to reduce stretch marks and tighten the skin. Maybe this will help you. Good Luck.
Overly stretched skin- how do I repair it back?
not sure
Reply:Sometimes if you were big, and losing weight, it is very hard to loose the loose skin, and normally people have plastic surgery.. Stretch marks sometimes go and sometimes they don't. It really depends on your skin.. If you feel your stretchmarks are getting worse, try used stretch mark creams, it keeps your skin mosturised. About your chest, some men do have that problem, you should speak to your doctor about this, Also check your weight, maybe you need to lose a few pounds. You being a guy, women go through this everyday, i am in the same boat, i am woman, but i have a flabby stomach, get bloated like i am 6months pregnant, it is so annoying, i wish i could afford plastic surgery, too expensive. I am sure you will find a way, remember you are still beautiful how you are. Just eat healthy and visit the gym, you can't go wrong. Good luck
