Why are East Asians obsessed with White Skin???

Most East Asians don't naturally have white skin except if their albino or have white ancestry. Even the ones that stay in doors all day still have yellow skin, but it'd be a light yellow compared to regular yellow. The ones you see with white skin comes from a bottle of skin bleach. I just want to know as a white woman why are you guys so obsessed with bleaching your skin, having large eyes, getting colored contacts, and dying your hair? If I didn't know any better I'd say that majority of you guys hate being asian and want to be white! I notice how you idolize us (white people), because of our natural pale skin, pointy noses, colored hair %26amp; eyes, our height, facial features, and the men look like greek gods while the women look curvacious with big breasts and etc. compared to your small ones and no curve women with a body of an 8 year old boy! P.S. How many asian models do you see on the catwalk that isn't mixed race?
Why are East Asians obsessed with White Skin???
Whatever. I went skinny dipping at night with a white girl last year and she practically glowed in the dark. She kept trying to hide her body with her hands but I can see everything clear as day.

Why would I want to have blotchy, speckled hairy, old looking skin.

All my white friends have crows feet near their eyes and they are only 30 years old. White skin gets old fast. It's not made for the sun.

No thanks. I like my silky, flawless, hairless, and tan skin any day!

Get a clue.
Why are East Asians obsessed with White Skin???
Feng is right !

your question is just plain ignorant and stupid !

Your chosen answer is just plain ignorant and stupid racist too !!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 Report It

Reply:It's exotic.

When all is said and done, who do you think they're gonna marry?
Reply:Because European culture still dominates via Economic superiority.

But Don't worry-in 100 years we'll all be watching asian films, and the new generation will be slanting its eyes and trying to use chopsticks!
Reply:I have dozens of friends who are chinese, immigrated from China somewhat recently, and NONE of them are obsessed with white skin. Some are very beautifully curvaceous and well toned, especially when in swimsuit or naked, just without fat bulging out of their clothes.

I also have other contacts, customers, clients, and a giant Chinese mall and hundreds of neighbours, and I don't see any concern or products to make white skin.

Its white people who want to have tans if anything.

Chinese people are lucky and have sort of a tan look, so why bleach skin? How would you bleach skin anyway??? Never heard of it. Only some very formal old-fashioned Japanese makeup had white powder, its just make-up, a traditional style they had before they had contact with white people.
Reply:The western influence has been craved by East Asian countries more than that of other Asian countries like India or the Middle East.

The East Asian countries are famous imitators of western fashions and trends (eg: Japan, Philippines). As the media pushes a Caucasian standard of beauty, the East Asians are becoming influenced by these standards as well. I hope it does not make them desperate to trade in their heritage to try and be another European looking country through artificial additions to their culture or to their physical appearance. It would mean they are embarrassed about their natural looks if they altered them to be more like white people.
Reply:I've seen plenty of full blooded Chinese with light skin tones and the rest of your question is just plain ignorant and stupid.
Reply:Everybody wants to look like what they are not. It's sad that most asian models are mixed race I find asians beautiful. I hate it when people wear colored contacts to look as if they are another race. Asians, hispanics and blacks do not naturally have blue eyes! I do think that many people are comfortable with their race, such as my friend who is asian. Some people do want to be another race, I pity them. It is good to like oneself.
