Super dry skin lotion?

i am on accutane adnd the super dry skin just kicked in. ill put on lotion after i get out of the shower at night and by morning my skin is super dry white and almost cracking. anyone know of any amazingg lotions for severely dried skin?

I have the same problem and have tried all the lotions mentioned. The only one I have found that works is Hempz. It's fabulous. Yes, it's made with hemp.

yep...it's that time...i get like a lizard this time of year...but not to worry...I use Cocobutter cream...yes it goes on kinda greasy...but it last for ever....

Reply:i would suggest 'aqueous cream BP' its for topical use as a skin cleansing agent and as an emolient, it can be used on adults and children with very dry skin and a nurse i know said it works.

i have very dry skin and it really works
Reply:I use Eucerin. It's really greasy and sticky but it provides a lot of moisture for your skin. Just apply twice daily and it'll soothe your severly dried skin. You can find it at any drug store.

And if you have dry skin on your legs, try using Satin Care *dry skin shaving gel. It works wonders.





You could also try showering everyother day for a while, that could really help because sometimes soap can dry out your skin. Also, keep lotion with you wherever you go and apply when needed. Try to eat healthy as well and drink water. Water can help you to have very healthy skin.

I just want to add--did your derm ever mention spiro instead of accutane? Spironolactone is prescription only, clears up acne, and has less side effects than accutane. Spiro does dry skin too but to not to the degree of accutane.
