My skin is acne free and I must say it's never oily or anything. I have, however noticed that when I look at my skin in bright light, it looks bad.
It looks uneven, slightly bumpy and it looks as if I have tiny tiny bubbles of oil under the skin on my chin. It's like a blemish, and eventhough I do cleanse and exfoliate and used all the "blemish" stuff that they sell. Nothing helps.
But also, just in general, how do I make my skin smooth, so it is not bumpy and has no lines or anything?
Why is my skin like that? It's NOT acne?
How old are you? Adolescent? It could be hormones...
If not, try microdermabrasion..just don't scrub too hard!
What kind of skin products do you use?

use a toner to decrease the oil after you cleanse, close your pores and hopefully reduce the bubbles.
microdermabrasion at a beauty clinic gently removes off top layer of skin giving it a smoother appearance, and you'll look much fresher afterward. not sore or anything, takes about half hour and expect to pay around 拢40-拢60
Reply:I can't remember what they are called, but it is a skin condition. It's treatable, but you need to see a dermatologist about it. Good luck! And try not to aggrivate your skin in the meantime with too many lotions and potions. Just a simple cleanser for sensitive skin and a light moisturizer for you!
Reply:I have the same problem. I rarely get any pimples, and my face isn't oily. But, I have these little bumps everywhere that aren't noticeable unless you get really close.
I went to the dermatologist about a year ago, and they said I have keratosis pilaris. I don't know if you've heard of it, but the name sounds kinda confusing.
Its nothing major though. The dermatologist told me that it will go away in my 20's. Also, going to the tanning bed occasionally will help your skin and healing this.
I have keratosis pilaris on the top part of my arms, and the insides of my thighs too.
The doctor prescribed me Differin. Its a acne medicine, you may have seen commercials on t.v. for it. But it works for keratosis pilaris.
I would reccomend going to see the dermatologist, just to see if you do have keratosis pilaris or you might have something different.
Ask your parents to make you an appointment.
:] Hope I helped!
Reply:Acne is due to hormonal changes, bad diet and unhealthy skin care habits. Sometimes, dandruff in the hair can also cause acne. Include green leafy vegetables and fruits in your diet. Drink a lot of water regularly to flush out toxins. Avoid deep fried snacks. More home remedies available at http://www.wellnesstalk.org/acne.html...
