I have recently been having really red and dry skin around my nose and I have no idea why. I've never had this before. It could be because I recently moved to France and my skin is not used to this weather. I have always had extremely good skin all my life and have had no problems. I drink plenty of water so it's not dehydration. It's not eczema so please don't suggest that. And I wash my face everyday and use moisturizer also. Does anyone have any suggestion as to what I could do to make it go away? It hurts and it's annoying!! Thanks!
Red, dry skin around my nose.... help!?
I have the same thing from the cold weather and when I had a stuffy nose and was rubbing it a lot. I use a poweder foundation so I just rub it lightly over that area. Moisturize it a lot and even if you do not use a foundation now, just think of buying one for your nose area. Neutrogena Powder Foundation is amazing :)
Red, dry skin around my nose.... help!?
who knows it could be a sun burn so add lots of sun cream and stay out of the sun for awhile and hopefully it will go away
Reply:It could just be irritated skin. You might want to go to your dermatologist if it gets really bad. It could be caused by the weather.
Reply:Apply cream or moisterisor
Reply:Use vaselines intesive mousture cream. You'll see the dry skin gradually get better. Put it on every morning and night untill it gets better. Good luck!
Reply:it could be various things.
1) because you blow your nose too much
2) just the cold weather/the season

Reply:im not to sure what it could be from but i would say go to your sephora store in the mall and buy something called Rosebud Salve. its like a petroleum jelly but it works 10x better then regular vaseline.
